inPodil Conversations: On Non-Fiction Literature at hinaus
On August 4, the hinaus multidisciplinary art space in Kyiv’s Podil district hosted a discussion on defining, transforming, and elevating the role of non-fiction literature in modern Ukraine. The talk covered autofiction, diaries, reportage, and the therapeutic potential of lived experience literature in wartime.
The panel featured Liza Korniichuk, Editor-in-Chief of UP.Culture; Amina Akhmed, Editor-in-Chief of Artslooker; Liza Biletska, Editor of Noha magazine; Anga Zelena, author of the documentary-poetic series DVRZ; and Arina Kravchenko, literary critic, editor, and translator. The conversation was moderated by Philip Oliinyk, Editor of Noha magazine.
